Rogue

Remy and Rogue first met when the X-Men were in opposition with Magneto's Acolytes, of which Remy was a member. Ever the charmer Remy handed Rogue the King of Hearts, leaving it to blow up in her hand as the battle continued. They met again later when Remy stepped in to warn a few bullies away from her, and later still when, under the control of Mesmero, Rogue absorbed his powers. Remy joined the attempt to rescue her and stop her from unleashing Apocalypse, clearly becoming infatuated with her, although she was never aware of his efforts.

The met one last time when Remy kidnapped her so that she could help him rescue his father. They became close during this time, although when Rogue learnt of Remy's deceptions she was more than a little angry, however she still stepped in when it looked like Wolverine was going to gut Remy. Despite this she still walked away from him, leaving him in New Orleans with his father, but holding on to the Queen of Hearts card that he gave her to show that he cared.
